Online NHS directory helps find most appropriate service for patients

Community pharmacy teams are reminded to make use of the NHS Service Finder online search tool.

The NHS Service Finder provides fast, accurate online information about local health and social care services. This enables pharmacy staff to signpost patients to the most appropriate care, removing the need to refer to outdated directories.

Searches can be made by location, service, or keyword. There are even interactive maps to show you where services are located, and giving directions which can be easily shared with patients.

Pharmacy teams are encouraged to sign up for this free service now, using their NHSmail address.
