Order your free toolkit for Diabetes Prevention Week 2019

February 28, 2019

Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Week – a joint campaign from NHS England, Public Health England and Diabetes UK – will run from 1st to 7th April 2019. The campaign aims to raise awareness of Type 2 diabetes, complications associated with the condition, at-risk groups and, importantly, how to prevent it.

Community pharmacy teams are encouraged to order a free Diabetes Prevention Week toolkit which includes everything they need to run their own Type 2 diabetes prevention event during the week. The toolkit contains posters, leaflets, ‘How do you measure up?’ tape measures and more.

You can order a toolkit by downloading this form and then sending the completed form to leicia.feare@nhs.net. Toolkits will be dispatched on a first come, first served basis.

Additional digital resources, including social media images and videos, are already available from the Public Health England’s Campaign Resource Centre with new resources such as leaflets in other languages coming soon.

Join the conversation on Twitter by letting people know you’re taking part in #PreventingType2 and if you have any questions about the campaign please contact leicia.feare@nhs.net.
