Pharmacist Support Wellbeing Workshop: 29th March

March 30, 2021

Yesterday evening (Monday 29 March), PSNC hosted its second Wellbeing Workshop provided by Pharmacist Support and are pleased to report that the event was well attended. The Stress Management and Building Resilience workshop was explicitly designed with those working in pharmacy in mind and covered the following:

  • the science behind stress and anxiety and their effect;
  • the impact of an individuals mindset on their wellbeing, and;
  • techniques for dealing with pressure in the workplace.

At the end of the event, each attendee received a delegate pack containing a stress diary and several resources to help manage their well-being.

Following the workshop, PSNC’s Director of Contractor and LPC support, James Wood, stated,

“It was a pleasure to work with Pharmacist Support to deliver this wellbeing workshop,  to help support our colleagues working every day on the front line in community pharmacy. Pharmacists and their teams are going above and beyond to care for their patients, and we hope workshops like these will also help them to think about their own health.”

PSNC has summarised the wellbeing support offered by both Pharmacist Support and the NHS to Contractors and their teams.
