Pharmacy Collect: Orient Gene and MYS claiming issues

It has been highlighted, following community pharmacy contractor feedback, that the lot numbers on the Orient Gene lateral flow device test kits are one character shorter than those on other brands of test kits. As a result, entries onto the Manage Your Service (MYS) application are not being accepted as the system requires an eight-character lot number.

To remedy this, the UK Health Security Agency and the NHS Business Services Authority have agreed a work around. Contractors with affected stock will need to add the letter ‘G’ in front of the lot number to submit their data.
