PSNC updates its Privacy Notice

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant provisions of domestic law – i.e. the UK Data Protection Act 2018 – come into force today (25th May 2018). This legislation aims to give people more control over their personal data.

The data that PSNC holds is necessary to help us fulfil our core functions:

  1. Representing, supporting and promoting NHS community pharmacies;
  2. Auditing the community pharmacy margin survey; and
  3. Checking the accuracy of payments to community pharmacies and negotiating with relevant authorities.

PSNC takes data protection seriously and has always been careful with this data, ensuring that it is kept secure and that is only accessible to PSNC staff who need it for their work.

We have reviewed and updated our Privacy Notice and provide it to you for information.
