PSNC has become aware that the licensed Trimovate Cream manufactured by Ennogen Healthcare Ltd is currently unavailable. To meet patient need Ennogen has launched Trimovate Cream as an imported/unlicensed medicine available via Alliance Healthcare Distribution.

Prescriptions written as Clobetasone 0.05% / Oxytetracycline 3% / Nystatin 100,000units/g cream

Clobetasone 0.05% / Oxytetracycline 3% / Nystatin 100,000units/g cream entered Part VIIIB of the Drug Tariff in July 2018. Should you receive a generically written prescription you will be paid based on the Drug Tariff listed price.

Prescriptions written as Trimovate cream

At present and until further notice prescriptions ordering the licensed Trimovate cream will be priced by an exception handler as an unlicensed special and paid based on endorsement.

Endorsement required

  • Amount dispensed over pack size used;
  • Invoice price per pack size from which the order was supplied less any discount or rebate;
  • Manufacturers’/importers’ MHRA licence number;
  • Batch number of the product supplied; and
  • SP.

As a reminder, all prescriptions for unlicensed medicines should be placed in the red separators for the end of month submission.
