Community Pharmacy England held a webinar about the regulations around consolidations and mergers on 4th March 2020; a recorded version is available to access below.
During the 60-minute webinar, Gordon Hockey, Community Pharmacy England Director of Operations and Support, discusses:
- Mergers and voluntary closures;
- Consolidations under Regulation 26A – the procedure, the benefits and its limitations; and
- No significant change relocations (Regulation 24) that can be viewed as mergers.
This webinar aims to support community pharmacy contractors who may be considering consolidating or merging two or more pharmacies or pharmacy businesses, but may also be useful for LPCs who often support contractors with pharmacy applications.
