Past events 2019

LPC members days – October -December 2019
With new content and updates, PSNC’s LPC members days are for both new and experienced LPC members and officers.

LPC Conference 2019London, 25th September
The annual LPC Conference remains an important event bringing LPCs together to share experience and learning, and giving them the chance to put forward their views for PSNC to consider in its planning processes. The outputs from the Conference help PSNC to identify priorities and workplans for the year ahead.

Provider Company Workshop – London, 24th September
This workshop will help LPCs to understand the key considerations for setting up a provider company as well as how this can be achieved in practice. There will also be an opportunity to learn from other LPCs to understand current best practice and provide a roadmap for implementation. The purpose of the provider company workshop is to support new and existing provider companies as well as providing information to those LPCs that are currently considering setting up a provider company.

PSNC Training for LPC Chairs and Vice Chairs – Coventry, 3rd May
Knowing how to direct and control an LPC meeting by maintaining rules and meeting etiquette is part of the job of an LPC Chair and Vice Chair. It’s also knowing how to get the best out of LPC members, leading the team and running an effective LPC meeting.

National Meeting of LPC Treasurers – Manchester, 15th May
The event is for all LPC Treasurers and this year will focus on financial management and transparency. The day will also provide opportunities to share ideas and good practice, and networking with LPC Treasurers from across the country.

LPC Members Training Days – various locations, March and May
With new content and updates, PSNC’s LPC members days are for both new and experienced LPC members and officers.

National meeting of LPCs – London, 20th March
Formally the national meeting of LPC Chairs and Chief Officers, this event now gives the flexibility for LPCs to send any two LPC members/officers. The agenda will include PSNC briefings and discussions on current issues and NHS policy, sharing LPC ideas and expertise, and collaborative working.

Past events 2018

PSNC Leadership Academy London, 11th December 
Bringing together experienced LPC officers, members and staff, all recognised as leaders in their LPC work: Leadership Academy Plus is a forum is for LPC leaders who have something to contribute; who want to listen; learn from and work with other LPC leaders from across the country.

NHS Regulations and LPCs – various locations, October and November
The day will focus on the NHS regulations that LPCs and contractors will encounter the most in practice, and the practical implementation of those provisions. The day will also cover other regulatory issues that impact on contractors now and in the future.

PSNC Leadership Academy – London, 12th July
Bringing together experienced LPC officers, members and staff, all recognised as leaders in their LPC work: the LPC Leaders Forum is for LPC leaders who have something to contribute; who want to listen to, learn from and work with other LPC leaders from across the country.

LPC Conference 2018 – Birmingham, 26th September
The annual conference of LPC representatives, starting at 10.30am.

Preparing Bids and Business Cases – various locations, June
With change comes new opportunities for community pharmacy services. To help community pharmacy navigate new structures such as Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs), Integrated Care Systems and Accountable Care Organisations, and prepare bids and business cases fit for the new commissioning environment, PSNC is running workshops for LPCs, pharmacy contractors and provider companies.

National meeting of LPC Treasurers 2018  – London, 14th June
This event is for all LPC treasurers to share ideas, resources and good practice; receive updates and information from finance professionals; and network with LPC treasurers from across the country.
