Tania Farrow, Pharmacist and Chief Officer of Suffolk Local Pharmaceutical Committee said:

“An enormous thank you goes out to each and every Suffolk community pharmacy team for their hard work and dedication to their communities.

“It is always such a pleasure to be involved in the awards event. We are all so busy just “doing the day job” that we forget about the value that job has to patients and the wider healthcare system.

“We have recognised the exceptional contributions of some of Suffolk’s pharmacy teams and team members, but we have also shone a spotlight on the amazing work that all our pharmacy teams are doing day in and day out.

“In a year like no other you have shown that you can triumph through adversity, working together for the greater good of humanity. I can’t think of anything more worthy of an applause.”

The awards were judged by:

  • Helena Beer, Training Matters Editor
  • Gavin Talbot, HLP Lead from Suffolk County Council
  • Sean O’Sullivan, Senior Reporting Analyst Corporate Performance, West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group

Special thanks to our judges for taking the time to carefully select our award winners and shine the light on our excellent teams and individuals representing Suffolk community pharmacies!
