Sexual Health Service Update

There will shortly be a sexual health campaign running on social media which we have been working with the public health team on for some time.

Please see the Hot Summer campaign resources along with the campaign comms. plan to support better sexual health messaging in the Suffolk context. (Please note items in red will be delayed till closer to the true lifting of lockdown).

Please feel free to use the campaign resources along with the campaign quiz / link to online quiz.

Pharmacy messages include how the public access condoms, EHC and chlamydia screening.

For EHC and chlamydia screening, social media messages will sign-post the public to the NHS Find a Pharmacy website, so please make sure your departments and services tab is up-to-date.

For condom provision the social media message sign-posts the public to the Young and Free website page.
If you are not listed on this website and would like to be it is essential that your pharmacy completes the C-Card Reporting template monthly with the number of supplies of condoms your pharmacy has made.
If you are listed but you have not reported recently and your supply is ZERO please just drop THT an email to Sexualhealthsuffolk@tht.org.uk saying you wish to continue to be a provider so your listing on the web page remains.

Pharmacies not completing the monthly reporting template or sending an email will be removed from the THT Young and Free page with the map of outlets.

Ordering of chlamydia screening kits and condoms for the C-Card Service is done via PharmOutcomes, so please make sure that all your existing stock is still in date.

You will find the template headed Sexual Health resource order form under the PharmOutcomes services tab.
