Supervised Consumption payments for pharmacies from 1st October 2020

Supervised Consumption payments for pharmacies from 1st October 2020

September 21, 2020

Turning point have provided an update in regards to supervised consumption payments in the attached briefing.

This means that from 1st October payments will be based on actual activity instead of your monthly average or where activity fee was higher than the average; which has been the case since April 2020.

Suffolk activity levels are significantly lower vs pre-C19 levels (which you may see in current prescriptions) but levels are slowly increasing. Turning Point are reviewing clients regularly and responding to presentations but organisationally they will still be adopting an approach which recognises the continuing issues with C19.

Please make sure all supervised consumption is recorded on PharmOutcomes or NEO360 platform.
