100 Hour Pharmacy Monitoring
- A “100 hour pharmacy” is defined as one which has been included in the Pharmaceutical List under regulation 13(1) (b).
- The Superintendent Pharmacist or the regular pharmacy manager must submit a monitoring form within seven days of the end of the month to which it relates.
- For the purposes of this form, a week is defined as a period of seven days commencing at 00:01hrs on Monday and ending at 00:00hrs the following Sunday.
- Failure to provide essential pharmaceutical services for at least 100 hours per week, or any advanced or enhanced services the pharmacy has agreed or is required to provide during the times specified, using appropriately qualified staff, without good cause may lead to the Primary Care Team removing the pharmacy from its Pharmaceutical List.
