The PNA provides a comprehensive account of the commissioning environment for pharmaceutical services for the historic NHS Suffolk area.

It covers demographics and health needs, service provision and strategic goals in one document. Further, it also added to the collective information available in the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and other public health data

April 2017

Suffolk County Council and Soar Beyond Ltd sought views and information from community pharmacists in Suffolk on services provided from community pharmacies via an online questionnaire. The questionnaire was been developed by a steering group, led by Suffolk County Council, and including representation from LPC members, council and public. The information gathered would look at how additional services could be commissioned through pharmacies.
